Attitudes and Perceptions Towards Migrants Among French Catholics.
June 2018 | Principal Author: François-Xavier Demoures
French Catholics make up 53% of the total population, although only 24% are practicing. Their attitudes on refugees and immigration contrast with that of the French population overall. This study, conducted in partnership with Caritas France (Secours Catholique), the French Bishops Conference, CCFD-Terre Solidaire and the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS France) looks into 5 segments of French Catholics.
This study is part of a larger ongoing partnership between More and Common and Christian organizations in France aimed at changing their outreach and communications strategy on immigration and refugees in France.
